Today was Sunday, so I got to read another of Tabitha's notes . Carl let today to go down to a reading/writing "bung" (get together) for the school teachers. This morning, we all went to a Lutheran(?) church at Mabagaba with a beautiful view and a dirt basketball court near it. Carl had to help clear up the preacher's understanding of "free" (pre/fre in Tok Pisin). In Tok Pisin, "fre" just means without cost in the sense of money. Carl helped them understand the "free" in Galatians 5:1 - It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. A little baby girl peed on the floor in the aisle of the church during the service... Her mom didn't care until later when she started to do number two, and then she quickly picked her up, took her out of the church, and came back to clean up the mess with a cloth. I read "The Horse and His Boy" today.
