Location: Ukarumpa, East Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea
This morning, I went to market and got spears and pig carvings. Then all of us except Ginny and Johanna went to Kassam Pass, which goes down about 4000 feet into the lowlands in about 16.4 km! Wow! There were some amazing views! We also saw the dam which feeds water into the power plant generators which powers two-thirds of PNG, including Ukarumpa. This afternoon, we girls went to help Ginny at the clinic. I got to count fun-colored pills, and then Ginny and I worked together on pouring scabies lotion and another liquid medicine for nausea into bottles. I really enjoyed getting to work with Ginny on that! Then, before dinner after Ginny and I left and closed up the clinic, she went to a lot of effort so that I could get a Tok Pisin Bible from the Book Distribution Center. Jim came and got us in the van and we found out where Veronica, who works at the Book Distribution Center, lives and we went and found her, brought her to the BDC, and each got a Tok Pisin Bible

I just spent about $90 today to ship 7 or 8kg of stuff to the US... Our pickup tomorrow to go to the airport is at 7am.. I hope Australian customs isn't too difficult! I'm going to miss Ginny...!
