This morning, Pat, Julie, and I went up the hill to go to the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church. However, they had already finished their service when we got there. So instead, they asked us to "story" and asked us lots of questions. We got into the whole big debate about the Sabbath and the SDA belief that true believers worship on Saturday, not Sunday. I felt like I was in a doctrinal debate back in the States, except that here there was the added language barrier and the inadequacy of the Tok Pisin Bible translation. Fortunately rain came and freed us to go home for lunch around 1pm. Later in the afternoon, Pat and I gave another guitar lesson. We taught Henry and Levi about half-steps, whole-steps, and major scales. That took about two hours! Henry is doing well with the new chords from last time! Henry and Levi are half-brothers. Tonight, we had pizza again. My back is getting really sore from sleeping on this thin foam mattress! I miss my memory foam from home! May God grant me the rest I need tonight.
